Sales Executive

Ideal Bite is seeking a Sales Executive for the New York market. This person will be responsible for the sale of Ideal Bite's internet advertising products to national accounts based in the New York and East Coast area.

• Proactively prospecting and qualifying potential new advertising accounts.
• Identifying business opportunities and meeting with decisionmakers to obtain customer commitment and facilitate delivery of product.
• Become a category specialist bringing a competitive perspective to your client base by fully becoming immersed in category trade news, events, etc.
• Achieving quarterly revenue targets.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Be the face of Ideal Bite, including but not limited to PR events, sales, and special events
• Promote brand: support and do no harm to Ideal Bite's brand in all your professional dealings

• 3-5 years experience in local and/or national internet advertising sales focusing on premium, non-CPA ad sales.
• You must have a clear understanding of the online advertising industry and existing relationships with media planners, buyers and interactive agencies.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation, time-management and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the use of MS Windows, MS Office, MS Internet Explorer and MS Outlook (SalesForce.com a plus).
• BA/BS degree or equivalent required.

• Salary plus commission
