Ideal Bite is seeking a Sales Executive for the New York market. This person will be responsible for the sale of Ideal Bite's internet advertising products to national accounts based in the New York and East Coast area.

• Proactively prospecting and qualifying potential new advertising accounts.
• Identifying business opportunities and meeting with decisionmakers to obtain customer commitment and facilitate delivery of product.
• Become a category specialist bringing a competitive perspective to your client base by fully becoming immersed in category trade news, events, etc.
• Achieving quarterly revenue targets.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Be the face of Ideal Bite, including but not limited to PR events, sales, and special events
• Promote brand: support and do no harm to Ideal Bite's brand in all your professional dealings

• 3-5 years experience in local and/or national internet advertising sales focusing on premium, non-CPA ad sales.
• You must have a clear understanding of the online advertising industry and existing relationships with media planners, buyers and interactive agencies.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation, time-management and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the use of MS Windows, MS Office, MS Internet Explorer and MS Outlook (SalesForce.com a plus).
• BA/BS degree or equivalent required.

• Salary plus commission

Ideal Bite, the leading daily email for the light green consumer, has an immediate opening for a Web Developer/ Webmaster.  This role is the Company’s primary website and technical personnel, responsible for all site, blog, and publishing database management and coding. The role has been established for a mid-level web/programming guru, with amazing potential for growth. 

The Ideal Candidate must have experience being in a fast-paced, technology-based business, preferably with experience in digital publishing.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Ideal Bite e-content usability
• Serve as the principal operational contact on the technical capabilities of the site, blog, email publishing tool and on issues of platform functionality
• Liaise with ASP and backend system support teams    
• Proactive evaluation of performance and recommendations for improvement
• Manage relationships with contractors, team members, vendors  
• Attainment of monthly, quarterly and yearly tech and database goals
• Create and modify all pages on the Web portal and maintain consistency in the layout all pages according to existing design templates or protocols  
• SEO – constantly seek best ways to increase Ideal Bite’s site and blog search listings, and stay up on best practices for optimization
• Coordinate and document processes & systems 

Technical Skills and Experience:

PROGRAMMING AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Extensive knowledge of HTML, XHTML, DHTML, PhP, MySQL and JavaScript is required
• Past experience creating dynamic web pages using PHP and accessing a MySQL database 
• Working knowledge of common web programming languages
• Basic Linux user and administration knowledge
• Hands-on experience with outsourced dedicated server

TOOLS

• Image Manipulation - Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Fireworks
• Macromedia Flash with active scripting, Macromedia Director and/ or Print experience is a plus
• Hand coding of dynamic web pages  

MANAGEMENT SKILLS

• Ability to manage projects - using project planning tools and effective communications    
• Document all development methodology, and with an eye toward detail

ADDITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS

We’re looking for someone who will be able to come into the San Francisco office at least once per week.
