Cutest Cat Award

Around the Biter offices, the whole "my cat's cuter than yours" conversation was getting old, and our cat food tip was coming up, so I decided it was time to put the argument to rest. The Biters shall decide, once and for all, which is the most precious kitten. Meet the contestants:

Well, of course THEY ALL are lovely cats..no if's and's or buts... however.........in limiting my vote to only ONE......... That one must be........HENDRIX Clearly, in addition to the cute factor THIS CAT...has awesome stretch and relax ability...he is not only beautiful, but has both CONFIDENCE to spare and is totally comfortable with everyone in his world...a cat that lays in this position says...LIFE IS GOOD and I'm smart enough to KNOW IT! I find such intelligence coupled with raw power and beauty to be and overwhelming WINNER!

Sara takes a mean picture: Pierrot gets my vote! Pet Promise doesn't have by-products but it's not necessarily a top quality food. Halo, Wellness, Merrick, Evanger's, ZiwiPeak, and Addiction are my picks.

Hard to tell from these pictures... They're all so different! Max: overall (he looks like a big cuddly ham!) Ella: prettiest Pierrot: cutest Snack: most angelic Hendrix: attitude Tigger: mischeviousness I volunteer with Humane Society cats and love every single one of them. Cats rock! (Dogs too... but cats have grown on me more since I started working with them).

Don't those cats have such personality!? I Love them all, Pierrot is "the kitty with the most of this lot". It could be I am swayed by the fact I have 8 rescued cats, 3 of which are black and white and one who could be a double for Pierrot, though her name is Minni Pearl. I've been making raw food for my cats with this handi packet of all natural additives by ttp://www.felinefuture.com/ I supply the 2lb. of ground meat, add 1/2 cup of powder that contains Taurine, minerals, essental fatty acids etc that every kitty needs for health. It's that simple and has cured my latest rescue kitty of his 6 months of vet defying diarrhea. They love ground chicken and turkey the best.

Not to avoid the cutest cat question, but back to the products which prompted the contest; does anyone else think it is slightly indulgent and frivolous for "master" of these animals to spend unnecessary amounts of money on animals, when there are other environmental and human issues that could be addressed with these funds?
