Chicago Editor Daisy: "I’m still in the dark ages, cell phone wise… But one that I think is really cool is on the iPhone - you share files with a bump. So all you do is bump your phone against someone else’s, and it makes a bump noise/vibration thing, and the file is transferred!"
Managing Editor Diane: "Remote. This is gonna sound complicated, here goes...it lets me control iTunes, when it's streamed though my AirPort and connected to my stereo. I used to have to go to my computer, in another room, to change songs (it doesn't sound as bad as it really was). It also lets friends put in requests for songs if iTunes is in DJ mode."

Why do we keep promoting cel phones? Very non-green. I'm disappointed.

Cell phones are a necessity for many people. Until companies really start to have a green initiative, the choices for environmentally friendly phones are slim. Recycling your old cell phone is a start though.
