But new Seattle illo girl totally can. I envy her. I'd just end up looking like Samantha Ronson - minus the scowl. I think I'm more on the level with this gal than I am with Page - that's new illo girl's name, as given by me. Actually it was Paige, but she changed it when she was 14 to align with her "There’s no I in Page" mantra. She lives in a Capitol Hill loft with her cat, Don, and has tattoos of both Marilyn Monroe and Pee-wee Herman. She scored her vintage fedora at Last Waltz before it closed (sigh), and that vegan (natch) blue bag on her shoulder? Queen Bee Creations, in which she carries around copies of her boyfriend's indie rock/metal/alt-country band's CDs (you heard them on KEXP, right?) to give to kindly people on the bus (her Metro pass is her fave accessory, second only to her veggie-based-dyed auburn tresses). And don't judge her for the plastic cup in her hand - it's made of corn and totes compostable.
