love you guys and I was excited to see an eco rain gear tip, but I was kinda disappointed in your products selection - some of us can't afford a $200 raincoat!

Elena- For those of us who don't want to drop $200 on a raincoat, there's the most eco-friendly option of all: picking one up at a thrift store. On something as infrequently worn as a raincoat, I'd rather spend $5 on it and give the $195 to a rainforest conservation charity.

i second the request for LESS EXPENSIVE clothing tips. perhaps less expensive tips for everything would be nice. the majority of us live in the real world of financial struggle. what say you?

In the search for less expensive though, one must be aware of what is being sacrificed. If it's cheap, it might be made of organic bamboo fiber, but in a chinese factory where they use child labor. Also, while the bamboo itself is grown organically, chemicals are used to make a soft fabric out of the fibers. That's just one example.

Don't wish the rain to go,go away! For those of you out there of the mind set that they want the rain to go away,WAKE UP! Our thoughts our powerful! Instead,envision,and speak of balance. I also have to say we need more affordable suggestions. Thrift stores are a great option, but sometimes the selection and sizes are very limited. If you don't live in a city, and you don't have a lot of money, there are still ways to buy eco-socio-whatevero conscious. It is really easy to find these options online but they are always so expensive. I can find those myself. I need idealbite to help me with the hard to find *affordable* products. Don't let us down!

Does it really take an almost $200.00 raincoat or pair of boots to to solve the climate crisis? You really should try to avoid the temptation to cater to high-end "green" clientele -- that approach will make you just like every other media outlet these days that seeks to peddle Hybrid Lexus SUVs and EnergyStar rated SubZero refrigerators to the upwardly identifying masses...
