Bucktown’s Verde Design blurs the lines between style and sustainability so that designs (custom or premade) are as chic as they are eco. Gorgeous end table or responsible use of reclaimed wood? Shimmery, textural wallpaper or a by-product of renewable hemp? Make no mistake, these sexy pieces (yes, sexy, check out the all-curves Loquacious couch) are hand-built in Chicago with FSC-certified hardwood. For an extra eyeful of Verde’s collection, check out the Museum of Science and Industry’s Smart Home exhibit. On purpose.
