Browse mysteries in the (dark and stormy) basement; fiction, 50 history sections (including espionage), and poetry on the main floor; cookbooks, nature, and DIY up top; and rarer gems in the front - we scored a Philip K. Dick sci-fi early edition for our nerdy brother. Savings: These tomes run 30%-50% less than new, and by buying used, you cut back on the 1.3 million tons of paper U.S. publishers bind each year. Rules? Grab a $1 cuppa joe near the register, and pat resident cat Lenny on your way out.
