Recycled Metal Jewelry

Silver Bullet

The Bite:
Want the key to updating your jewelry box? Sure(fire): Add a piece from Julia Failey's spring line of whimsical, shiny baubles, like lotus flower dangly earrings, butterfly-shaped pendants, and curvy conflict-free diamond-studded bangles (so long, tax refund…) - all made with locally sourced recycled metals. To create these handmade lovelies, JF uses reclaimed sterling silver, and alloys (mixes) it with tin rather than conventional copper, making each piece tarnish-resistant - guaranteed.
Why Care?:
Using reclaimed metal creates 97% less mine waste than using virgin metal.
Our fave new pieces are the stackable, edgy Little Rose Vine Rings - see photo.
Wanna Try:

Cocktail Fact

South Africa's "Lion Cave," the oldest known mine, is 43,000 years old and was used to excavate hematite, a mineral that people ground to create a reddish brown pigment.

Small Changes Add Up

If 10,000 Chicago Biters buy a ring made with reclaimed instead of new silver, we'll keep the weight of 179 shovels in metal from being mined in environmentally destructive ways.

Greetings, I am a new and upcoming seamstress/artist that makes vintage aprons. My aprons are all unique and made from up-cycled vintage/retro men's neckties. I hand pick my ties personally, design and sew each apron myself. I am interested in finding more boutiques across the US interested in purchasing or consigning a few of my Forevercrafty necktie aprons? Please feel free to view my online store at Forevercrafty.com. I currently have my tie aprons at Bella Cosa in Long Beach they are an upscale boutique that specializes in handmade, eco-friendly and locally created items. My aprons are selling at craft shows for 33.00, in local boutiques for 39.00-45.00. I am really looking for some great people to help work with and I simply adore your store. Please advise weather or not you would be willing to negotiate a deal. Thank you ever so kindly. Forevercrafty.com Forevercrafty@hotmail.com
