Unfortch, probably not, but you can still stage your own designer invasion with style (and eco-flair) by checking out the new lines of sustainable furniture from Crate & Barrel – yes, that C&B. Among the collections, both indoor and outdoor, we’re keen on the Spanish-inspired, mango wood tables (sleek, yet rustic) and the mosaic-like media stands made with reclaimed exotic Brazilian peroba wood (think mod). Northbrook-based C&B has partnered with environmental organizations, such as the Tropical Forest Trust and the Forest Stewardship Council, to source natural plant and wood materials from socially responsible, conservation-minded plantations.
