The Bite:
Ever think to yourself, wow, I'm ridiculously good looking? Even if you have, a little skin TLC never hurt. Get some at the sleek new Zoetica Spa. Read an e-book while Zoe's pros give you a hand/foot treatment, massage, or facial using housemade, organic toners, creams, and cleansers (all sustainably packaged for purchase too). Its products are all USDA-certified organic, plus the space is a good model for the city with its soon-to-get Platinum-LEED cred.
Why Care?:
Using certified organic ingredients means no iffy chems soaking into your skin - great, since the FDA's only tested about 11% of chems found in beauty products.
Our skin was creamy, nails buffed to a natural shine, and our shoulders a bit less tense after Zoe's whole milk and honey hand treatment with minimassage.
Wanna Try:
Zoetica, 1250 N. LaSalle St. (312-280-0800). Hand treatment, $40.

Cocktail Fact

In ancient Egyptian society, nail polish color indicated social order; upper classes wore reddish hues, while lower classes were allowed to wear only pale colors.

Small Changes Add Up

If 10,000 Chicago Biters opt for a bottle of organic body lotion instead of a conventional one, we'll keep the weight of 35 male models in potentially toxic ingredients out of the environment.

Wow, what's up? I have tried numerous times to call this business and always get the same recording and transfer to somethin'or other. Are they never open, or just never answer their phone? Frustrating as I was planning to purchase a surprise giftie treatment for someone but needed to connect to a real person! Maybe on this needs to be checked into????
