The Bite:
Need a little leprechaun to take away your junk? How 'bout the next best thing: the Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (known to humans as CHaRM). It won't take pink hearts or purple horseshoes, but it works with tons of local orgs to recycle (or donate for reuse) your other old stuff - bike tires, used cooking oil, shoes, Styrofoam blocks, even your old toilet. And it won't cost you a pot o' gold: It'll take most stuff free of charge, except electronics and bathroom porcelain (and hey, we'd make you pay for that too). CHaRM also has info on where to drop things it can't take - like air conditioners and yoga mats. It's magically recycle-licious.
