Spruce Almighty

12.02.2008

The Bite:
imageWanna be omnipotent - at least when it comes to your Christmas tree? Look over the 80 acres of Scotch pine, Douglas fir, and Colorado blue spruces at U-Cut Xmas Trees, and see all that is good. Don't worry about smiting your tree - if you cut it above the lowest branch (ask the staffers for help), it'll grow back into a full-size tree in about 7 years. (Also: Look for our upcoming tree recycling tip.) Plus, they're grown without pesticides, fertilizers, or extra water - just sun and rain - and unlike their fake PVC plastic counterparts, they don't release cancer-causing toxins during production. While you're there, rejoice over the great sledding - and hot chocolate in the gift shop. Heavenly.
