The Bite:
Hunger level: severe? Secure a table at Terroir and chow New American (fusion-y) food in an upscale-but-not-snooty setting; the seasonally inspired bison, pork, pasta, seafood, and local veggies come in just-right portions (it'll fill you up, but you'll just need the one stomach). We tried the silky Butternut Squash Gnocci and slightly fiery Chipotle Polenta Fries (with garlicky dipping sauce - yum) appetizers, then stuffed ourselves with the maple-brined Pork Tenderloin. Most of Terroir's grub comes from the homeland - organic CO farms like Osage Gardens, White Mountain Farm, and Long Farm, so eating at T smokes out pesticides, as well as CO2 emissions from long-distance shipping. Safe and sound.
