The Bite:

No shirt, no shoes…no love for what's in your closet? Ditch the mall scene and hit the fashion show at the Love Your World event, which'll introduce Moxie Industries' new organic cotton line, including jeans from skinny (Zinnia) to superflared (Iris), and green tees. Other fun: live music, a silent auction with eco-art fashioned from items like old makeup used in place of paint and license plates, a drawing for freebies (including Moxie's duds), and one free drink. Learn it. Know it. Live it.

Why Care?:

Conventional cotton growers use about 1/3 of a pound of harsh chems to produce enough cotton for a T-shirt, and 3/4 of a pound for a pair of jeans - going organic skips the pesticide shower.

We have our eye on the quasi-flared Azalea jeans (see photo), which should be in LA stores next month.
