The Bite:
Do your body good, and snag a pair of the LA-based designer's lux eco-jeans. From retro, flared shapes to sleek skinny styles (the all-the-rage, wide-leg trouser fit squeezed into our own closet), Linda's high-fashion bamboo or organic cotton-blend jeans are manufactured locally using nontoxic methods - great, since it takes 2/3 pound of pesticides to make one pair of non-organic jeans. Her summer collection also includes tops (rock a Too Hot to Handle tank, and a generous donation will go to Stopglobalwarming.org) and dresses made from cool, sustainable materials such as sasawashi - a linenlike, leaf-based fabric - and seaweed-based Seacell - a fabric that actually feeds nutrients to your skin...kinda like drinking a glass of milk.
