imageDoes your journey (ahem) downtown on the 101 seem to go on and on and on and on? Share the night (or at least the ride) by hopping LA's oft forgotten Metro instead. Our green itinerary: Hop on the clean (f'reals) red line at H'wood and Highland and take it to downtown's art deco Union Station in 20 minutes – an hour drive sometimes - sans the stress of traffic and finding parking. Then stroll to Little Tokyo to peruse the vintage wares of Kimski Makes, or hit Casa de Sousa café near Olvera Street for live music and its famous organic Mexican soy hot chocolate. Your $2.50 round-trip'll save gas and time, and reduce your CO2 emissions. Trains run 20 hours a day…don't stop believin'.
