The Bite:

Wanna put an end to your quest for a new perfume? Done: Try an Opus Oils' fragrance and stow it in one of OO's limited-edition, coffin-shaped perfume flasks. Among the options are Vamp (our pick - smells like fresh gardenia flowers with a smoky undertone), and its newest fragrance, the musky Dirty Sexy Wilde. All OO's 'fumes are made in LA with mostly organic essential oils, so they're phthalate-free. And after you finish off the bottle, you can get a refill at the boutique for 50% off the original price.

Why Care?:

Many conventional perfumes use hormone-disrupting phthalates as preservatives; these scents don't.

We're in love with OO's vintage-y, old-world-looking packaging - it's very Edison.

Small Changes Add Up

Manufacturers aren't required to list perfume ingredients, so it's tough to know what you're spraying (though it could very well be a dose of hormone disruptors), so opt for a fragrance sans the mystery ingredients.
