The Bite:
OD'ing on the same ol' jewelry? Rock some pieces from Sid Vintage. Nanci Bennett's punky yet dainty, recycled-vintage collection continues to grow, and she's currently working on sexy summer pieces like cuffs and tassel necklaces made with salvaged chains, and awesome vintage finds from spots like the Rose Bowl Flea Market. She can also do custom work with old treasures ("Best Friend" necklace from 4th grade, anyone?), and while her stuff isn't cheap, it's handmade and totally unique. We're addicted.
Why Care?: 
A single new 1/3-ounce, 18-karat gold ring creates about 20 tons of mine waste, so remember: recycled jewelry = eco-friendly.

We met Nanci (supercool chick, BTW) at Trunkshow awhile back and fell in love with this bracelet from the Cold as Ice collection (see photo).
