The Bite:

Wanna get outside, but have shortness of breath thinking about putting on a bathing suit? No pressure: Visit Vital Zuman Farms - one of the oldest organic farms in the country. Get your hands dirty planting stuff like peaches and garlic, weeding, and mulching orchards on its pretty tree-lined grounds. After a couple hours of work, take home gardening tips from VZ's smarty-pants farmers, plus a few just-picked fruits and veggies. The fresh air should get your heart pumping.

Why Care?:

Organic farming avoids the use of toxic pesticides, keeping them out of soil, and away from farmers and other produce-eating bods - volunteering helps keep it going.

We're planning to help out during the Summer Solstice celebration this weekend so that our hard work gets rewarded with a little live music too.

Hi. I went to the Vital Zuman site as well as googling "Summer Solstice Event; Jun. 13-14" and found nothing either way about the event. I wanted to send the info (in my own form) on to others. Where can I find info on the internet about the Summer Solstice Event on June 13-14?
