Dear Biters: Got the munchies? Enclosed, please find a recommendation to visit Locali, a spiffed up convenience store (minus the ciggies and lotto tix). If you're going for a true quickie mart experience, wash down a grass-fed Let's Be Frank beef hot dog with an agave-sweetened, real-juice slushie from A Taste of Life (thumbs-up on the white peach). But Locali also carries locally made snacks like Silver Lake's La Guera Tamalera Organic Tamales and LA-made No Udder Vegan Desserts, plus about 60 wines and 50 beers – all either organic, biodynamic, sustainable, or locally made.
