Wanna watch The Girls Next Door on a hi-def tube? OK...or the news. Get ready: Analog broadcast is headed out the door, and so are the sets. If you opt for digital (you can also get a converter), rather than ditching your oldie in a dumpster to feed a landfill (and leak lead), take it to LA's California Recycles, a center that will refurbish or recycle your TV (and other electronics - we got rid of some VHS tapes while we were at it). Just drop off your ewaste for free at its West LA center or find a local drop-off event here. And if you have too much stuff to move yourself, ring 'em to get an estimate and schedule a pick up. Hef's not going anywhere.
