Testing the Waters
The Bite
Love the taste of Fiji, but wanna get your water from a less remote place? Try the tap. According to last month's Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting competition, LA's h2o tied with Clearbrook, B.C., for the tastiest tap water, compared to 29 municipal waters from 13 U.S. states, Canada, and New Zealand; each was tested by food critics according to taste, odor, mouth feel (um...?), and aftertaste. Going with what's on tap saves you cash and keeps water bottles out of landfills, and with a safe
reusable bottle, it's no less convenient, so go ahead and test the LA waters yourself.
