The Bite:
You're most likely to succeed if you...make your own ice pops in reusable molds (and delicious, fruity flavors won't hurt either - check the blog for our pop recipe). You'll save cash - no shelling out for frozen pops made with synthetic ingredients - and have the best (tasting) summer.
The Benefits: 
  • They're most likely to be healthy. Making pops yourself means no added sugars, high-fructose corn syrup, artificial ingredients, and coloring. Plus, if you use organic juices = no pesticides.
  • Graduating to modern-day molds. Forget the PVC molds of our youth. We found ones made of silicone, and safe plastic, free of hormone-disrupting BPA.
  • They're least likely to get trashed. Manufacturers use more than 1.4 billion sticks annually for frozen treats - that's more than 6,000 trees (and hello, packaging) destined for the dump. Ours have reusable handles.
  • Holding the "Class Cheapskate" title proudly. Making your own pops costs about half the amount as buying ones from the store.
