imageIf you see Anna Lappé stirring up a lavish eco-feast, give her a high five. This down-to-earth greenie's the coauthor of Grub: Ideas for an Urban Organic Kitchen, a host on The Endless Feast cooking show, and a cofounder of the Small Planet Fund. Girl can cook - here's a quick Q&A:

What's your favorite seasonal recipe ingredient?
Anna: It gets a bad rap, but I love kale, in any form. Also, I'll eat anything by Bryant Terry, eco-chef and my coauthor on Grub.

What's your eco pet peeve?
Anna: I once heard an eco-promoter bragging about convincing a Hollywood celebrity to buy not one, but two hybrids. Wait, wouldn't it be better if we didn't buy a car at all?

What are you wearing?
Anna: My brother, Anthony Lappé's, limited-edition T-shirt from his graphic novel Shooting War: It's got a silk-screen image of Dan Rather sporting a flack jacket, with "The Frequency is Courage" beneath him. (Bonus points if you get the cultural reference.)
