SMALL CHANGES ADD UP

If 10,000 NY Biters buy one coffee table made from fallen trees instead of virgin wood, we'll keep more than 230 trees alive and well.

A Truth of Grain

The Bite

image
Sick of the hand-me-down lawn furniture in your living room? Sure, you can hose it down, but be honest: It's time to upgrade. Take a seat on - or pull up a chair to - one of Eric Manigian's artful benches or tables. Inspired by the reverence for nature found in Japanese temples, his clean, minimal designs take advantage of the natural grains, shapes, and textures of the wood he selects from fallen, dying, or discarded trees - no healthy trees are cut down to make these gems. The Deuce coffee table set (see photo) would fit right into the fanciest restaurant...or that empty corner our living room. No lie.
