SMALL CHANGES ADD UP

If 10,000 NY Biters recycle their 27-in analog TV instead of tossing it, we'll keep the weight of over 3.6 mil Poltergeist DVDs in electronic waste out of landfills.

Has your analog TV crossed over to the other side? With analog signals in NYC dying off in less than a year, the next generation - digital - is on its way in. Help your old analog set rest in peace by dropping it off at Build It Green - NYC's new electronics recycling center. BIG breaks down outdated TVs (and VCRs, computers, radios, and other media items) and distributes the plastic, glass, and metal recyclers to smelters around the area, keeping them out of landfills. 'Cuz we do love watching The Hills...uh, we mean, Discovery documentaries...in the best light.
