Wish first-date drinks were a little less painful? All you need to face that moment at the door later (you know the one) are a few tasty pints at Brooklyn Brewery. For our St. Paddy's rendezvous, we're sipping Brooklyn Lager; its amber suds have a firm flavor and a slightly sweet caramel finish. The pub's laid-back atmosphere is great for loosening up the conversation, and on-site brewing means no CO2 from long-distance shipping. If you can't make it tonight, $4-pint Fridays make for a cheap date no matter how much you swill, and if you can't pick a single brew, for a limited time, 20 bucks will get you six different pints. No promises that the date'll work out...but at least the grinning will be easier.
