Ideal Bite

If only the Taj Mahal followed me everywhere I go! I’m happy to say that Indian clothes such as the embroidered salwar kameez I’m wearing don’t require dry cleaning—or dryers, for that matter.

Little me with my friend and noble companion, the unimaginatively named Buck (he was a buckskin quarterhorse). Together, we won reserve-champion in showmanship.

Through this picture, that is. This was taken on a wild backcountry trip to Alaska with my pioneer-spirited, adventure-seeking mother. This was the clearest, purest water I’d ever seen—and I’ve seen some clear, pure water!
