Ideal Bite's "Money Week" Makes Living Green Financially Rewardings

Resource to Highlight Green Banks, Tax Breaks, Investment

Brooklyn, NY and Bozeman, MT - May 9, 2006 - As tax returns provide consumers' wallets with a little extra padding, Ideal Bite, the only "light green" online resource for everyday people, has announced Money Week - a week-long series of daily email tips highlighting ways that readers can put that extra money to work for themselves as well as the planet. The week of eco-minded money tips commences next week on May 15th.

Money Week will provide over 50,000 subscribers (also known as "Biters") with tips on investment and banking options that are both fiscally sound and environmentally responsible.
"By 'voting with their dollars,' people have the potential to leverage markets in favor of the planet - and to make money at the same time," noted one of Ideal Bite's founders, Heather Stephenson. "We're giving our subscribers a roadmap to navigate the many options out there," added co-founder Jennifer Boulden.

During Money Week, Ideal Bite's daily email tips will focus on socially responsible investment, eco-friendly financial institutions, community investment programs, and eco-tax incentives.

The Week is an addition to a number of recently introduced special services from Ideal Bite, which also include a "Green Holiday Gift Guide," spotlighting the hippest and greenest gifts of the year, and the "Green Chip Company Showcase," which gives Biters insider information on companies making significant strides toward sustainability.

Ideal Bite's success lies in its sassy, non-preachy attitude as well as its pledge to help followers save time by finding the best products, save money through energy efficiencies, and be eco-hip with what's new and cool; all while building a community where Biters can "dish" about the day's tip, share additional ideas, and be entertained with small, ideally-sized bites of environmentalism.

The formula is working - the eco-impact of a recent tip recommending that subscribers remove their names from junk mail lists resulted in 11,576 Biters' removing their names from mailing lists, preventing 324,000 lbs of junk mail from entering landfills and preserving 2,755 trees.

Heather Stephenson and Jennifer Boulden developed Ideal Bite, Inc. (www.idealbite.com) while working together as marketing consultants to green businesses. After realizing that there was no online source where environmentally-minded companies and conscientious consumers could come together, they decided to create it themselves. Both have backgrounds in launching web companies and a burning passion for taking "green" mainstream by sharing their advice on how to align daily decisions with personal values. Ideal Bite launched in the U.S in June 2005, and will expand internationally in early 2007.
