We are all about saving trees, but if you’d like to spread the good-n-green word by posting an Ideal Bite tip in a public place, we encourage you do so on recycled paper. Thanks and Happy Biting!

If 10,000 SF Biters drink a bottle of water from a reusable container rather than a disposable one every day for a week, we'll save enough oil to fill 60 kitchen sinks.

Some lotus flowers have a surface that repels dirt and keeps them clean in the muddiest of waters.

The Bite:
Who's there? Thankfully, not this guy, but if it's the folks at Laughing Lotus Yoga, you'll be smiling. With classes for all skill levels, from invigorating morning wakeups that focus on fundamentals to faster-paced stamina-builders (you can find us crow-posing in Keith Borden's Monday-night class) no one's left out. LL flexes its eco muscles with water filters (not bottled water) and washable cotton towels in the restrooms, , and by serving up tea in real cups rather than disposables. It's cleaning up consciences too, thanks to a daily donation-based Community Class session that benefits a different organization each month (this month it's For Haiti With Love). No joke.
Wanna Try?
Laughing Lotus Yoga Center, 3271 16th St. at Dolores St. (415-355-1600). Classes, $11-$16; first-timer 3-class card, $30.
