Wish your car could reverse the ugly effects of global warming? Speed over to Treasure Island this weekend and join other amateur drivers in Bourgeois Tree's first-annual Race for the Trees. Whether you've got a hybrid or a Hummer, you can floor it over the course's 6-mi TI street loop for 300 mi of NASCAR-esque fun. And since roads won't be blocked off, you'll be able to show residents how much you care about the forest. Sign-up fees from the anticipated field of 6,000 racers will pay for the planting of up to 15 trees to fight greenhouse gases, and the winner will get $20 donated to Greenpeace in their honor. We can certainly handle those results.
