The Bite:

Hey girl…we saw you over there, looking fashionable, and we thought - you should come to this party. Tomorrow's Local 415 event at Eco Citizen will celebrate Spring 2010 collections by Bay Area eco-designers. Check out cozy-coat maker Juleselin, recycled bling by Kris Nations, visions in white by Mr. Larkin, and organic cotton cowl neck designs by Josh Podoll. Ten percent of profits go to Global Green, there'll be organic food and booze, and collections by Molly M and Yellow Owl Workshop will be showing through November. Well played.

Why Care?:

When you opt for locally made, organic designs, you show eco-designers (and the shops that carry their wares) that going the extra mile to avoid pesticides on their materials is worth it.

We are serious Eco Citizen fans, so much so that we filmed our fall 2009 fashion video at Joslin Van Arsdale's Russian Hill space.
