Carrot Tops

What's better than a red-headed comedian with a box of props? Well, just about anything. But a sneak peak at truly fashionable fall threads certainly is - especially ones from NY designer John Patrick's new organic line. His high fashion yet wearable skirts, blouses, dresses, and coats (we're saving for the flared, button-front jacket) are made with fabrics like recycled cotton and organic wool, and while you won't be able to buy the fall duds until August, you can still shop the spring line, which sports the same pesticide- and landfill-avoiding materials. You'll also have a chance to munch mini carrot-cupcakes and ask JP questions about eco-fashion - just don't pitch any style ideas inspired by Carrot Top.

Cocktail Fact

We're not kidding: Carrot Top's dad was a NASA scientist who taught astronauts how to operate lunar landers.

Small Changes Add Up

If 10,000 SF Biters buy a recycled or organic cotton top instead of one made from conventional cotton, we'll avert the weight of 19 Carrot Tops (hair not included) in pesticides from entering the environment.
