Local Bee Rescue & Honey

The Bite:
Trying to catch a buzz? If you've got a (bee) problem, enlist help from Noe Valley Apiaries. (Clearly, we think bees are fly.) NVA corrals pesky bees from walls, crawl spaces, bonnets, etc., without the use of poisons or pesticides. Back at HQ, it puts the rescued feral bees to work making scrumptious honey from SF's fragrant buds. NVA honey can't be traced back to a specific plant or bee variety, so flavors range, but it's always smooth, sweet, and perfect for loading up.

Why Care?:
Environmental changes are causing bee populations to decline, so supporting bee rescue services (and eating local honey) helps keep bees powering our global agriculture.

This season, NVA honey is the perfect addition to our wellness cure: hot toddies.

Cocktail Fact

Many historians believe that the "nectar of the Gods" popular in Greek mythology was actually honey.

Small Changes Add Up

If 10,000 SF Biters use a beekeeper instead of pesticides to drive bees out of their yards, we'll keep 24,000 hot toddy glasses full of pesticides out of the environment.
