SOMA's woman-owned and -operated Luscious Garage plies its trade almost exclusively on hybrids, in a space that's much more welcoming than your typical greasemonkey hangout (well, unless your current mechanic keeps the floors spotless and hangs plants all over the garage). You can book appointments, order services, and pay online, adding convenience while subtracting paper, and Luscious's use of re-refined motor oil saves gallons of precious petroleum. To boot, its homemade vinegar-based wiper fluid keeps our windows squeaky clean...even when our minds aren't.
