Never Never Outerlands

The Bite:
Want a meal that'll last you straight on 'til morning? Grown-up food outpost Outerlands Café will Hook you. This Ocean Beach spot serves up a changing-daily dinner menu using seasonal-organic-local ingredients like Dirty Girl beets, Heirloom Organics greens, and Range Brothers bacon, creating pure deliciousness like its bomb potato leek soup. Its new Sunday-only brunch offerings: Dutch pancakes topped with citrus fruit compote will def do it for you, especially paired with a French press of Outer Sunset's Trouble Coffee. The place is built almost entirely from recycled materials - wood-paneled walls made from former fences scavenged on Craigslist and chairs made outta scrap wood from old Marin county barns. Fly.

Cocktail Fact

Never Never Land is a real place; it was first recorded in the late 19th century, describing the uninhabited regions of Australia.

Small Changes Add Up

If 10,000 SF Biters eat just one bowl of soup prepared with local ingredients rather than one made from imported produce, we'll save enough diesel to fill about three bathtubs.
