The Bite:
imageChristine McVie may never rejoin Fleetwood Mac (sigh), but not all good things must come to an end: Starting tomorrow, clothes headed for SF recycle bins will make a stylish comeback. A new line of duds from Goodwill and the founder of Joe Boxer, called William Good, will break The Chain of waste by repurposing a Landslide of discarded apparel into snappy garb that looks like it was sprinkled with Gold Dust, Woman (they make men's clothing too). These one-of-a-kind, handmade items blend fabrics to create everything from T-shirts to upscale suits and dresses. Find the outfit of your Dreams at a bargain, and keep the World Turning at the same time.
Wanna Try:
William Good, available at Goodwill, 1669 Fillmore St. at Post St. (415-354-8570) and online, starting Nov. 15. Not-So-Little-Red-Riding-Hood coat, $60; heart dress, $60.
