Are you Heatwise?
The Bite
Word on the street is that it's getting hot in here. Up your cred by getting the dirt on how climate change will affect local farms, and by extension, our food supply. (We're worried about the temperature rising, but we're downright terrifed that we might not be able to enjoy California vino in 30 years.) After a reception stocked with goodies from the morning's Farmers Market, Dr. W. Michael Hanemann, director of the UC Berkeley Climate Change Center, and Stanford food and environment scholar Dr. David Lobell will explain whether or not we should start hoarding bottles of zin now. Psst - there's Q&A time too, so bring your questions, wise guy.
