Ferry Godmother
The Bite
Wish you could wave a magic wand and make your Farmers' Market snack trash disappear? Bibbidi-Bobbidi-boo - soon you can, thanks to CUESA's new Ferry Building Waste Wise program, which launches tomorrow with a market celebration. Now, instead of trashing your rinds, toothpicks, and tiny sample cups, drop 'em at new waste stations. You can snag a free reusable tote bag and show off the wealth of recycling knowledge you've accumulated from your other fairy godmothers (ahem) with the trivia challenge. And this weekend, you'll find all that as well as a recycled art display and a waste-wise cooking demo from Delfina's Craig Stoll. Magic wands not required.
