If you see exec director and co-founder of Vote Solar Adam Browning walking down the street, give him a high-five. Speeding through the loops of solar-power legislation ain't easy, but Adam's SF nonprof is rising to the occasion. By spreading the word on important energy-related ballot measures to lawmakers and peeps like us (42K members and counting), VS is helping us make informed decisions at the polls. After helping to land SF $100 mil for solar energy generation (Yerba Buena carousel = a little more eco), Adam and his crew are trying to ensure that crucial tax breaks for solar and wind energy get renewed by the end of 2008. We'll put our hands in the air for that.
