Pet Peeve

The Bite:
imageIs the hole in your once-cozy fleece blanket putting your OCD in overdrive? (Deep breath...) Instead of trashing it, take it and any other used-but-usable blankets and towels you don't want to the independent, 100% donation-funded Seattle Humane Society, where it'll go to good use as cushy bedding. Donations are tax deductible - just have 'em mail you a receipt or grab one while you're there. Then, pay a few of the shelter's 250 animals a visit (fair warning, you may find it impossible to leave without a new family member). Overflow materials go to the Seattle Humane Society's Pet Project, which provides free pet services to pet owners with AIDS. No complaints.
