The Bite:
Right round, like a...pizza from the new 'Zaw location in Ballard. Like the originals (Cap Hill and South Lake Union), this joint creates take-and-bake pies, flatbread apps, and salads. Each dish's got suggested pairings like Snoqualmie wines and Fish Tale organic ales. But the pizza's the rock star - try our fave, the Cowardly Apricot, topped with roasted free-range chicken, apricots, and Gorgonzola. 'Zaw uses seasonal, organic, unique - Vietnamese hot sauce, anyone? - and local ingredients, such as Bob's Red Mill organic flours (organic = no chems; local = low CO2 emissions from transport). It'll deliver (the booze too) by bike for an extra two bucks - you just pop it in the oven, and open up your loving arms, er, mouth.
