Today's Seattle Tip

Eyebrow:
Organic Gelato

Feeling Faint?

The Bite:
Prob'ly just need some gelato. (We're not a doctor, but we play one on Ideal Bite.) Check out Fainting Goat Gelato in Wallingford. With plenty of seating and warm, butter-colored walls, this cozy, family-run gelatorium has 24 flavors - 18 available daily - including pistachio, tiramisu, coconut, bilberry, and our fave, lemon (perfect tart-sweet ratio - no easy feat). Plus, the gelato's made with organic milk from Mount Vernon's Lynden Farms and organic sugar, so you can pass (out) on nasty chems.
Why Care?:
Opting for local dairy cuts down on transport emissions; plus, sugarcane crops usually get doused with the highly toxic herbicide paraquat.
We love the gelato's creamy, dense texture and are big fans of FGG's dairy-free sorbetto (mango in particular), made with crystallized cane juice and seasonal fruit.
Wanna Try:
