Are you trying to tap into the fountain of youth?

08.03.2006

The Bite:
Face it (pun intended) - it's not "natural" to look 25 when you're 55. But since we're all a little vain, just use earth-friendly and chem-free methods and products to help in your quest for youth.
The Benefits:
  • Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and upping your intake of skin-nourishing vitamin E through foods like pumpkin, sesame, sunflower and flax.
  • Rejuvenate tired skin with effective plant extracts. Just a few examples: sweet almond to relieve dryness, hazelnut as a natural astringent, burdock to clear skin, and dandelion root to improve acne, eczema and psoriasis.
  • Another excuse to take a nap. Most cell repair and regeneration happens while you sleep, but these benefits are negated when you don’t get enough rest.
  • Work out your way to healthier skin. Physical activity revs up your circulation and helps you sweat out toxins that dull the skin.
Personally Speaking:
After hanging with Heather for so long, Jen has now become more intrigued by the whole "face care thing," and is a huge fan of the Suki Naturals serum.
Wanna Try:

Cocktail Fact

While there's no evidence it works, tourists still line up to drink from the fountain at the Fountain of Youth National Archaeological Park in Florida.

Bang For The Bite

Natural plant extracts do wonders for your skin, but unfortunately, the good stuff comes with a hefty price tag.
