Whatcha gonna do with your extra calendar day?

The Bite:
Love it up...in bed. But unless you wanna end up like the girl in Juno (and hey, maybe you do...), bring an eco, vegan condom along for the ride.
The Benefits:
  • Planet-friendlier pleasure. Look for more biodegradable latex condoms (unless of course you're allergic to latex) instead of polyurethane ones, which are made from plastic and stick around long after the fun's over.
  • Spermicide, not suicide. OK, we exaggerate, but the World Health Organization says to avoid the chem Nonoxynol-9, a spermicide found in many conventional condoms that may carry similar health risks to parabens.
  • Good news for vegans. Most latex condoms are made with the milk protein casein, but with a vegan version you don't have to cheat on your diet just to play safe.
Personally Speaking:
So, um, yeah...our parents read this. But we promise that our "friends" tested these products below and they all gave 'em the thumbs up.
Wanna Try:
We're not really sure why these all have to be made so far away (come on, American manufacturers!), but at least some are available through American retailers.
