Trying to get a jump on 2008?

12.11.2007

The Bite:
Make the leap to recycled calendars. An extra February day in 2008 (yep, it's a leap year) just means one more day to celebrate the year-round tradition of saving paper.
The Benefits:
  • Saving paper, 52 weeks a year. More than 50 mil calendars are sold in the United States every year - that's a lotta trees.
  • Old-school organization in 2008. Old-fashioned paper planners don't ever run out of batteries or suffer system glitches (grr, PDAs).
  • Days, weeks, and months filled with better designs than your average Precious Moments cal.
Personally Speaking:
Most of us use electronic PDA-based calendars, but Toshio lives his life via a Quo Vadis planner.
Wanna Try:

Cocktail Fact

Only 0.0684% of people (um, 1 in 1,461) are born on Feb. 29.

Bang For The Bite

If 10,000 Biters opt for a 100%-recycled weekly planner rather than a nonrecycled one, we'll save the weight of 27 adult leaplings (aka people born on Feb. 29) in paper.
