Can getting your porn online save the world?

The Bite:

We know you aren't into porn. But your "friends" can save paper and plastic by feeding their fetishes via this neat, new doohickey called the internets. (The rest of us can get our PG-rated magazines, movies, and music online.)

The Benefits:

Saving paper and plastic. Currently, less than 5% of paper used to produce magazines is recycled, and most DVD and CD cases are made from hard-to-recycle PVC or polystyrene.
Instant gratification. Downloading the new Amy Winehouse album takes 99% less effort than a trip to the record store.
Downloading costs less. It costs $5 less to download season three of Lost compared to buying the DVD, and you won't have to wait until the DVD's released in December to watch it.
